Scope and who is responsible
ClassShift is currently a pilot-stage managed student workforce project focused on Dallas–Fort Worth. For this public website and its pre-launch forms, the ClassShift project team determines why and how submitted information is used.
This notice applies to information collected through ClassShift's public lead forms and related website interactions. It does not describe any future employment, payroll, client, or production-platform system.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Contact details, such as name, email address, and optional phone number.
- Employer inquiry details, such as company, role, DFW location, recurring workforce need, typical headcount, demand frequency, preferred opportunity visibility, and operating problem.
- Student waitlist details, such as school, expected graduation year, general DFW area, and optional work interests.
- University inquiry details, such as institution, job title, campus location, area of interest, and partnership context.
- Your acceptance of this notice and the date and time of submission.
Limited website context
The lead form sends a first-party session identifier, landing and submission page paths, referring-site origin, and any standard UTM campaign parameters in the page URL. We use this context to distinguish submissions and understand which ClassShift outreach led to an inquiry.
The form stores this context in your browser's session storage. Selected student work preferences and employer visibility preferences may also be held there temporarily so they can be copied into the relevant form. This storage is generally limited to the current browser-tab session and is not a cross-site advertising identifier. Hosting and security providers may also process standard technical logs, such as IP address, device information, and request timestamps, to deliver and protect the website.
How we use information
- Review, route, and respond to the request you submitted.
- Assess potential fit for the bounded DFW founding-pilot program.
- Maintain the student pilot waitlist and send relevant pilot-stage updates.
- Explore a possible university conversation without implying affiliation or endorsement.
- Measure campaign and page performance using first-party submission context.
- Detect spam, prevent abuse, maintain records, and comply with applicable obligations.
Submitting a form does not create an employment, worker, customer, vendor, university, or partnership relationship. It does not guarantee a shift, job, pilot, meeting, staffing result, or service availability.
Retention and security
We intend to retain form submissions only for as long as reasonably necessary to manage the relevant inquiry or waitlist, evaluate the pre-launch program, maintain appropriate business records, and meet legal or security needs. A formal retention schedule will be defined before production launch.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to a pilot-stage website. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information you submitted, or withdraw from the student waitlist and related communications. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply.
Email hello@classshift.com with the subject “ClassShift privacy request.” We may need to verify that the request relates to you before acting on it.
You can clear the form's first-party session context by closing the browser-tab session or clearing this site's browser storage. Removing that context does not delete a submission already sent to ClassShift.
Age and student information
The student waitlist is intended for college and university students and is not directed to children under 16. If you are under 16, do not submit the form. A waitlist submission is not an application for employment and does not establish student status, eligibility to work, or suitability for any future role.
Changes and contact
We may update this notice as the pilot, legal structure, or technology changes. The effective date above shows the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page before they apply to new submissions.
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to hello@classshift.com.
