Scope and who is responsible
ClassShift is a pre-launch workforce-operations company validating two offers: ClassShift Managed for clients that want ClassShift to operate the workforce process, and ClassShift SaaS for clients that operate their own workforce. Managed-first pilot preparation begins in Dallas–Fort Worth. For this public website and its pre-launch forms, the ClassShift project team determines why and how submitted information is used.
This notice applies to information collected through ClassShift's public lead forms, including paid SaaS design-partner requests, and related website interactions. It does not describe any future employment, payroll, client, or production-platform system. Before any live pilot places or pays workers, the operating entity, employment, payroll and insurance arrangements must be confirmed under separate written terms and privacy notices.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Contact details, such as name, email address, and optional phone number.
- Employer inquiry details, including one or more workforce needs and the natural-language description you ask ClassShift to organize.
- Paid SaaS design-partner request details, including company and role, operating locations, roster size, scheduling cadence, workforce roles, current tools, operating problem, and readiness to evaluate a paid partnership.
- Student waitlist details, including school, expected graduation year, general DFW area, optional work preferences, and the natural-language introduction you ask ClassShift to organize.
- University inquiry details, such as institution, job title, campus location, area of interest, and partnership context.
- Your acceptance of this notice and the date and time of submission.
This public waitlist does not request or collect Form I-9 materials, Social Security cards, passports, driver's licenses, immigration records, work-authorization documents, banking instructions, or tax-withholding forms. Do not upload or enter them. Any future staffing-partner onboarding would occur through a separate process governed by that partner's notices and written terms.
Limited website context
The lead form sends a first-party session identifier, landing and submission page paths, referring-site origin, and any standard UTM campaign parameters in the page URL. We use this context to distinguish submissions and understand which ClassShift outreach led to an inquiry.
The form stores this context in your browser's session storage. Selected student work preferences and employer visibility preferences may also be held there temporarily so they can be copied into the relevant form. This storage is generally limited to the current browser-tab session and is not a cross-site advertising identifier. Hosting and security providers may also process standard technical logs, such as IP address, device information, and request timestamps, to deliver and protect the website.
ClassShift Intelligence and AI-assisted intake
ClassShift Managed is designed to use ClassShift Intelligence as decision support for its human operating team. On this public site, when you select “Structure my request” or “Build my starting profile,” ClassShift sends the description in that text box, the relevant audience type, and any work-preference choices you already made on this site to our AI service provider, OpenAI. If a follow-up is needed, we also send the prior structured brief plus your latest answer. Sensitive-looking identifiers are redacted before transmission where technically recognizable. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, or the contact fields from the final form for this structuring step.
ClassShift Intelligence and the underlying AI are used only to suggest an editable structure, separate distinct needs or preferences, identify missing details, and support human review. They do not rank students, decide eligibility or employability, hire or reject anyone, make a staffing or employment decision, guarantee a pilot or work, or submit the form for you. You must review and may edit every field before sending anything to ClassShift.
Our API request is configured with response storage disabled. The provider may still process limited technical and security data under its applicable service terms. If the AI service is unavailable, ClassShift may use a clearly identified rules-based fallback so the form remains usable.
The paid SaaS design-partner form does not use this AI-assisted structuring step. Its completed fields are submitted directly to ClassShift when you select the final submit button.
Do not enter Social Security numbers, bank or card details, medical or disability information, immigration or work-authorization documents, identity-document numbers, or another person's confidential information in the free-text box.
How we use information
- Review, route, and respond to the request you submitted.
- Organize a natural-language description into user-reviewable suggestions and identify missing information.
- Assess potential fit for the bounded DFW founding-pilot program.
- Evaluate a paid SaaS design-partner request, understand the current operating workflow, and discuss a possible scope, fee, usage period, and renewal decision.
- Maintain the student pilot waitlist and send relevant pilot-stage updates.
- Explore a possible university conversation without implying affiliation or endorsement.
- Measure campaign and page performance using first-party submission context.
- Detect spam, prevent abuse, maintain records, and comply with applicable obligations.
Submitting a form does not create an employment, worker, customer, vendor, university, or partnership relationship. It does not guarantee a shift, job, pilot, meeting, staffing result, or service availability.
Retention and security
We intend to retain form submissions only for as long as reasonably necessary to manage the relevant inquiry or waitlist, evaluate the pre-launch program, maintain appropriate business records, and meet legal or security needs. A formal retention schedule will be defined before production launch.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to a pilot-stage website. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information you submitted, or withdraw from the student waitlist and related communications. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply.
Email partners@classshift.org with the subject “ClassShift privacy request.” We may need to verify that the request relates to you before acting on it.
You can clear the form's first-party session context by closing the browser-tab session or clearing this site's browser storage. Removing that context does not delete a submission already sent to ClassShift.
Age and student information
The student waitlist is intended for college and university students and is not directed to children under 16. If you are under 16, do not submit the form. A waitlist submission is not an application for employment and does not establish student status, eligibility to work, or suitability for any future role. ClassShift does not verify Form I-9 documents or work authorization through this public form; the responsible contracted entity would provide its own onboarding and privacy notices before requesting such information.
Changes and contact
We may update this notice as the pilot, legal structure, or technology changes. The effective date above shows the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page before they apply to new submissions.
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to partners@classshift.org.
